The Legends Story

Two brothers from Northern Ontario — first-generation Canadians with proud Italian roots — Nearly half century ago moved to Ottawa to take the city by storm. With over 40 years in the hair industry and over half a dozen locations in the city, our family has grown right alongside the business.

Dylan, who has cut my hair at the St. Laurent works the wellington location, cut my hair, and did a great job. No matter which location you go to, you’ll always get a good haircut.

Life is good when you find a good barber, and a good auto mechanic. I found Legends a couple of years ago, and haven’t used another barber since. Fernando is so friendly and accommodating- he really goes out of his way to make it a nice experience. Alex is a great barber too, and always gives me exactly what I’m looking for. I’m so glad they only moved across the street, though I would have followed them wherever they went.

Huge fan of this place, I consistently get good hair cuts here. Everyone who works here is amazing so you can rest easy. The last two times I’ve had Lucey cut my hair and they were the best hair cuts I’ve got in my life, super happy with them. I have been going to Mary for about 10 years. I am pretty particular about my hair so I was happy to find her. There’s nothing worse than being excited about getting a fresh cut and then not being happy with the result. This is why I continue to go see her, I am genuinely happy with every cut. Her new shop is great, always clean, friendly staff, easy parking, nice complimentary coffee/espresso and good hair products. As a barber shop they also do beards and have certainly seem to have mastered all the different men’s hair styles. I absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great cut and an overall good experience.

This barbershop is always very clean, staff really seems to take pride in their workplace. There is free coffee and espresso if you are waiting, and they also have a lot of seemingly good hair care merchandise. I’ve only gotten my haircut with Alex and he’s somehow very detail oriented and quick. They also take appointments which is nice. Some places don’t for some reason and you obviously don’t know how long you’re going to have to wait.

I had an appointment today and my haircut is looking clean and sharp. However, because of the pandemic, I’m not carrying physical money on me anymore and there was no way for me to tip with my visa. Why? I went to the bank to to tip her and the line was insane. It shouldn’t come to this, gave your machines have a tipping option!
